Motion pour painting exists in a space between unpredictability and control—both at once. In my work, I embrace this balance, allowing fluid movement and color to guide each composition as it unfolds.
My process is intuitive and responsive. I do not begin with a fixed outcome; instead, I follow the natural flow of the paint, watching as forms emerge and evolve. Layers build, shift, and settle into movements that suggest energy, depth, and quiet tension.
Knowing when to stop is essential. Each painting reaches a point of resolution where further intervention would disturb its balance. It is in that moment—between action and restraint—that the work becomes complete.
My paintings are not meant to define a single image, but to invite interpretation. Whether the viewer sees water, motion, landscape, or emotion, the experience remains open and personal. If a piece resonates—if it lingers or quietly moves the viewer—then it has fulfilled its purpose.
